AWHP sent letters to the Florida State Senate and House urging members to prioritize expanding Medicaid coverage for the full range of evidence-based, comprehensive obesity care options, including medications, for Florida residents living with obesity by supporting SB 648 and HB 713.

AWHP respectfully urged the Connecticut Legislative Black and Puerto Rican Caucus to prioritize supporting efforts to expand Medicaid coverage for the full range of evidence-based, comprehensive obesity care options, including medications, for Connecticut residents living with obesity.

AWHP submitted a testimony respectfully urging that coverage for obesity treatment in state-regulated commercial insurance and Medicaid be included in the in the State Fiscal Year 2025-26 Executive Budget.
