A new survey commissioned by Pfizer and conducted by Survey Healthcare Global reveals confusion about the meningococcal vaccines and their associated recommendations. Luckily, an additional option may be on the horizon in the form of a pentavalent vaccine. The survey findings are now available on the AWHP website.

AWHP urges House lawmakers to reject cuts that may hinder biomedical research and harm vulnerable populations, advocating for a budget bill that restores agency funding to current levels, preserves the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality, and prioritizes women’s and girls’ healthcare needs.

We urge USPSTF to include annual breast cancer screenings starting at age 40, more vigilant recommendations for women with dense breast tissue, and continued mammography for women aged 75 and older. These updates will promote earlier, more frequent, and comprehensive screening, ultimately saving more lives.
