This month, we celebrate Women’s History Month and mark International Women’s Day on March 8th. To honor these significant occasions and emphasize the urgent need for heightened investment in women’s health research, we sat down with Dr. Elizabeth Garner.  

Dr. Garner currently serves as President of the American Medical Women’s Association, or AMWA, where she has played a pivotal role to advance initiatives focused on antiracism and gender equity. In 2022, she assumed the role of Chief Scientific Officer, US at Ferring Pharmaceuticals, after over 17 years of dedicated service in the pharmaceutical industry.
