October 20, 2026 (Washington, DC) — The Alliance for Women’s Health & Prevention (AWHP) recognizes the significance of the administration’s executive order establishing a Women’s Health Division within the National Institutes of Health and a White House Women’s Health Task Force. This announcement presents an important opportunity to elevate women’s health research and strengthen coordination across the federal government. 

Advancing women’s health requires more than scientific discovery alone. It demands sustained investment in research, a stronger evidence base to inform clinical practice, and policies that support equitable access to prevention, early intervention, and evidence-based care. By connecting research and innovation with real-world access to care, we can address persistent gaps in women’s health, reduce the burden of preventable disease, and improve health outcomes across the lifespan.
