Lynette Sappe-Watkins, CFRE
Lynette Sappe-Watkins is Executive Director of the Culmore Clinic, a non-profit healthcare clinic serving low-income adults in the Bailey’s Crossroads, Virginia community at little to no cost. In her role, Sappe-Watkins provides strategic and operational leadership at Culmore Clinic, with responsibilities that include overseeing the clinic’s operational duties and financial effectiveness. Sappe-Watkins implements the clinic’s strategic goals while monitoring the community needs and priorities to best serve patients, among a myriad of other responsibilities.
Previously, Sappe-Watkins served as Executive Director for the Physician Associate Foundation in Alexandria, Virginia for eight years. She has spent over 20 years in nonprofit leadership and fundraising roles including with the American Pharmacist Association Foundation, Home Safety Council and Safe Kids Worldwide and the American Red Cross in Charlotte, NC and Washington, DC.
Sappe-Watkins served as the 2016-2017 president of the Association Foundation Group, and maintains her Certified Fundraising Executive (CFE) designation. She is a graduate of the University of Georgia Henry W. Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communication.
