Lori Weinstein, MA
Loribeth Weinstein is an accomplished and visionary leader with decades of experience at the helm of non-profit and philanthropic organizations. She currently consults, coaches, and collaborates with individuals and organizations dedicated to ensuring parity and opportunity for all women and girls.
From 1999 to 2020, Lori served as the CEO of Jewish Women International (JWI), an organization committed to protecting the rights of all women and girls to live in safe homes, thrive in healthy relationships, and achieve economic security. Under her two decades of leadership, JWI created dozens of philanthropic, public policy, and advocacy initiatives for women and girls. She is currently CEO Emerita of JWI.
Lori has spoken extensively about the challenges facing women and girls here at home and around the world, including in the United States Congress, at The United Nations, and for the Justice Department’s Office of Violence Against Women. She has been a featured speaker at conferences in Argentina, Israel, Spain and England.
Lori is a founder of the Washington Area Women’s Foundation (WAWF), which provides more than a $650,000 to women and girls living in the DC Metropolitan Area, each year. She currently serves as co-chair of the Women’s Foundation and is also on the boards of NOMORE and ShoreRivers. Her previous board leadership includes American Jewish World Service, The Regional Council of the New Israel Fund, the Religious Coalition for Reproductive Choice (RCRC), and the National Coalition for Women’s Organizations (NCWO).
Lori is a graduate of Tufts University and Goddard College, Graduate School of Social Change.
